North Brunswick Humane is celebrating its 20th year anniversary.
We Need Your Help!
The North Brunswick Humane Association is a volunteer 501(C)(3) non-profit Association serving the Greater Brunswick area with the purpose of educating and guiding our community in the humane treatment of animals. Through education we hope to raise awareness and stop the inhumane treatment of animals. .
Over the last 20 years NBHA has developed and runs a community cat program (CCP). The phrase “Compassion in Action” represents what the Community Cat Program is about.
What the Community Cat Program Does:
- Provide financial assistance for TNVR of community cats.
- Provide support and training in TNVR through best practices set forth by Alley Cat Allies.
- Work with trappers/caregivers in scheduling veterinary appointments.
- Conduct public advocacy on behalf of community cats and the benefits of TNVR.
- Over 2,000 cats have been helped through the TNR program.
Since 2016 the North Brunswick Humane Association has facilitated collecting Pet Food for Animal Rescue Groups and to help feed Dogs & Cats within our community.
The NBHA Dog Walk and Adoption Day Event started in the fall of 2003. In the beginning, we had 1-2 Rescues participating along with 1-2 Vendors. Our service to the Community was to focus on and still is Animal Rescues having a platform for Adoptions. We’ve since expanded the event over the years and at any given time has had 40 Vendors, 15-20 Animal Rescue Groups and 10-15 Dogs Adopted per year.
Your donations help fund the CCP program and allow us to continue providing support to the community. With your support, we can provide vital resources for our community cats and help facilitate the adoption of dogs in need. Without your financial support, we cannot continue our mission to educate and guide our community in the humane treatment of animals. Please consider making a donation today.
